"Lost places"

I'm a Norwegian hobby photographer with interests in
abandoned, lost places, decay,history and urbex. Work with 3D visualization on a daily basis.

Hope you like my pictures of abandoned places in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Austria and United Kingdom.

I follow the urbex code: Leave only footprints, take nothing but photographs. I have never used forced entry to any of the place I have visited.

On tumblr I only post my own shots and don't reblog others work here, but I "like" lots of other tumblr posts.

A disco in Austria that burnt down a couple of years ago. The place could hold 2000 people but the place was closed when the fire started. No one got injured. It used to be more melted DJ equipment but it has been looted recently.

The amazing control room in a abandoned power plant in Hungary. It was build between 1927 and 1929. The little house inside the control room is actually a bunker where the workers could hide during bombing raids. The power plant became the largest one in the country and the most modern in Central Europe before it was abandoned in 2006.

Shower/toilet room in a underground shelter facility underneath Oslo capable of hiding 1130 persons from radioactive debris or fallout resulting from a nuclear explosion. Built during the Cold war.

One of the cabins in the aft section of the abandoned vessel.The ship is Norwegian but lays on the Swedish side of a fjord between the two countries. It is a historic vessel built in 1949 in UK. It is the only one left of its kind that was a common cargo ship in the years after the war traveling the north European waters. First as a steam powered vessel then later reconverted and fitted with a 9 cylinder diesel motor engine. It has status as listed and many historians hope it will be saved and restored. The ship was decommissioned in 1986.

Awesome trip to an old freight ship, abandoned in 1986. This is the very decayed bridge. To the right is the medical shelf. Rest of the room contained a lot of mess but also control panels, books, buttons and levers.
